Birchgrove
GPM performed major internal remedial works to this Birchgrove home. Working closely with Joshua Mulders Architects to rectify all specified issues and any unexpected issues which arose on site GPM completed the scope of works in under 4 months. The scope included the reconfiguration of the Kitchen Joinery reusing 90% of the existing materials, the addition of Joinery throughout, the renovation to all bathrooms to rectify waterproofing issues, the installation of structural steel and new bi-fold doors to maximize open plan living and the sand and polish to the existing timber floor boards.
215-221 Victoria Ave Chatswood
GPM were heavily involved throughout this project, not only were GPM head contractor of the build but also played a major role during the design and DA stages. Completing the build in just over 12 months the project consists of 14 Beautifully designed one and two bedroom apartments with European Oak Flooring, Quantum Quartz bench tops, in floor heating to all Bathrooms, spacious courtyards and secure basement parking.
Dangar Island
A complete knock down rebuild, GPM transported all materials to and from the island via Barge and GPM’s Work Punts. With a construction period of one year and the difficulty of the sites location GPM finished within the proposed construction program. The contract included the construction of a complete new dwelling, a refurbished boat shed, stone stack work feature wall and chimney, 220mm wide Engineered Oak timber floor boards and custom joinery.
Dover Heights
GPM completely demolished the internal structure of the house leaving only the perimeter walls then rebuilt this contemporary two story home. Completing the works in a construction period of only 8 months the house consists of 220mm wide Engineered timber floor boards, SONOS, intercom, laser cut feature panels and in ground pool surrounded by frameless glass balustrade and modwood decking.
North Bondi
Architecturally designed by Michael Folk Architects, GPM completed the internal alterations transforming the Garage storage into a Media room, the cellar into a modern study and renovated two bathrooms. One of which was constructed with a laser cut feature panel for the ceiling. All work was constructed with the clients living in the house with minimal disturbances.
Cammeray
Designed by Prue Murdoch Architects, GPM completed this renovation/restoration in March 2013. Restoring the external façade through tuck pointing the existing brickwork, GPM also added an additional first floor loft bedroom, rear extension and a basement level fit out with a new Bathroom. GPM liaised with the nominated Joiner to fit out new Joinery throughout..
Palm Beach
This architecturally designed new home by Michael Folk of Campbell Luscombe Folk Lichtman Architects, features environmentally friendly grey and rain water systems, in addition to being highly insulated to improve energy efficiency. Other features include 3 bedrooms, 1 study, 1 cinema room, kitchen, sandstone fireplace, timber staircase and flooring. Both the dining & living areas flow onto a large outdoor deck, with one section partially covered by a glass roof & the other an enclosed roof with skylights and a lap pool. Project Value: $600,000.
Greenwich
This heritage house was extensively renovated with an additional storey added to the rear to create a home with four bedrooms and five bathrooms upgrading existing living areas including a formal lounge, new timber staircase to the upper level, plus a new contemporary kitchen and laundry including bi-fold doors opening to a paved patio/BBQ area. A mixture of modern finishes has been blended perfectly with the original features to create a spacious home ideal for family & entertaining. Project Value: $900,000.
Dover Heights
This residential project involved a complete renovation designed by David Walker Architects. It involved underpinning the existing house to allow excavation for a cellar and plant room. The project required significant emphasis on the structural steel detail.
Both levels were completely demolished and re-designed according to the owner’s requirements resulting in a stylish home with contemporary features, comfort and attention to detail. Project Value: $930,000.
North Bondi
This new two storey semi was designed and constructed in conjunction with Michael Folk of Campbell Luscombe Folk Lichtman Architects. The project incorporated contemporary design, attention to detail allowing for 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and powder room. The new swimming pool required extensive works including underpinning and sharing structures. Additional works carried out included an external mechanical pergola and windows designed with concealed pelmets for blinds. Project Value: $500,000.
