Echuca

GPM completed the $5 million restoration works on the historical port of Echuca. This heritage listed wharf dates back to the 1800's and is and authentic working steam port, home to Australia's largest fleet of steam driven paddle steamers. Working closely with Campaspe council, the port of Echuca was completely disassembled and reassembled, restoring it back to it's original state. The use of sheet piling will overcome the natural obstacles provided by the Murray River, giving the highest standard of quality work otherwise unachievable through the use of divers. GPM is using all of it's own resources to deliver the project thus minimising sub-contractural agreements therefore increasing economy and efficiency. Be sure to keep and eye on this development on www.campaspe.vic.gov.au.
This project was completed May 2012.
