Lyne Park Seawall, Rosebay Stage 1
GPM is currently contracted by Woollahra Council with the restoration of the Seawall at Lyne Park, Rosebay. The works include the demolition of the existing seawall and constructing a new wall of approximately 360m2 of rock faced sand stone blocks, concrete backfill, new drainage, new concrete walkways and guttering, the installation of 210meters of stainless steel balustrade and soft works. Duration of the work to be 7 months at a cost of $1.4 million
Echuca
GPM completed the $5 million restoration works on the historical port of Echuca. This heritage listed wharf dates back to the 1800's and is and authentic working steam port, home to Australia's largest fleet of steam driven paddle steamers. Working closely with Campaspe council, the port of Echuca was completely disassembled and reassembled, restoring it back to it's original state. The use of sheet piling will overcome the natural obstacles provided by the Murray River, giving the highest standard of quality work otherwise unachievable through the use of divers. GPM is using all of it's own resources to deliver the project thus minimising sub-contractural agreements therefore increasing economy and efficiency. Burnt bridge creek Balgowlah
GPM was contracted by Manly Council to conduct rehabilitation works of Burnt bridge creek. GPM was responsible for the dredge of the creek area and the construction of a dry stacked wall. The delivery of the project was carried out solely by in house machinery, with stringent controls in place as the work zone was in an extremely environmentally sensitive area.

Oak Flat
Refurbishment and extension of existing jetty, incorporating floating pontoon with timber ramp
Merimbula Boat Ramp
Construction of a three lane suspended boat ramp on piles and articulated pontoon. GPM sheet piled the entire project and carried out all works in a dry environment, this allowing works to be carried out in the dry and ensured a high standard of quality control. GPM used the adjoining car park to prepare a casting bed and pre-casted all concrete components on site.
Mogareeka
GPM Constructions was engaged by Bega Valley Shire Council to carry out repairs to the Mogargreeks floating jetty after its complete destruction during 2010 flooding of the Bega River. Works included structural repairs to the concrete pontoons, rebuilding and strengthening of the aluminium gangway, installation of two new piles with increased height to accommodate future flooding, rock pitching to new concrete abutment, and path.
Oil Boom Gantry
GPM designed and constructed Sydney ferries oil boom gantry and deployment system to increase response time in the event of an oil spill at their Balmain ship yard facilities.
Rosebay boat ramp
Contracted by Woollahra Council and funded by Roads and Maritime Services the existing Rosebay Boat ramp at Lyne Park was demolished and refurbished in 2012. The $1.3 Million project involved widening and extending the boat ramp with large pre-cast concrete panels as well as designing and installing a new floating pontoon and gangway. There was extensive dive work carried out in underpinning the existing boat ramp sub structure and positioning the new headstocks and panels as most of the work was below mean water level. Careful coordination between Woollahra Council, RMS and other contractors in adjacent construction sites ensured successful delivery of this project on time and within budget.
Swansea Channel
60,000 Cubic Meters of sand was dredged out of Swansea Channel.
Lake Illawarra - Dredge
Emergency removal of sand creating a navigation hazard, GPM undertook the removal of 2000m3 of sand from the western section of the entrance channel to Lake Illawarra and disposed of material by side casting on to adjacent shallow areas
Lake Illawarra - Griffins Bay
GPM carried out the extension of Griffins Bay point jetty for the Lake Illawarra Authority
Lake Illawarra - Boonerah Point
GPM carried out the extension of Boonerah point jetty for the Lake Illawarra Authority.
Sydney Ferries
GPM was responsible for the refurbishment of Harbour City Ferries hydraulic ramps at Circular Quay 3 and Manly wharves. This major infrastructure upgrade consisted of replacing 6 steel hydraulically operated ramps right in the heart of iconic Circular Quay. The project was delivered under an ambitious 24hr working schedule and had the attention of the transport minister and government stakeholders.
Camp Sapper Jetty
GPM Constructions was contracted by Brookfield Multiplex to design and construct a 30m long timber jetty, aluminium gangway and floating pontoon for the Australian army on the Georges River. The timber jetty is finished with fiberglass mini-mesh decking with galvanized handrail and transitions onto a prefabricated aluminium gangway, and pontoon held into position by HDPE sleeved steel piles.
Camp Sapper Coffer Dam
GPM constructed a 50Lm coffered dam from steel sheet piles to hold back the Georges River while we carried out the dredge and refurbishment works inside the harbour.
